A top up is needed 4-8 weeks after the initial treatment this is included in the price of the treatment as the pigment will fade initially. Pigment molecules stay in the skin indefinitely the colour remains in the skin up 5-7 years but the actual depth will be lost over that time this is why top ups are essential to maintain the richness of the colour. Top ups are recommended every 12-18 months.
